Bill Lambton was an English football manager who had a brief and unsuccessful spell at Leeds United from 1958 to 1959. He was born in Nottingham in 1914 and played as a goalkeeper for several clubs, but never made a mark as a player. He became a coach in Denmark and then in England, where he worked with Scunthorpe United, Grimsby Town and Leeds United.
He was appointed as Leeds manager in December 1958, after being the third choice for the job. He tried to rebuild the squad with some signings, including Don Revie and Billy Bremner, who would later become Leeds legends, but he could not prevent the club from struggling in the First Division. He was asked to leave after just four months in charge,
